St. Louis Premium Outlets to Host Breast Cancer Awareness Event
St. Louis Premium Outlets invites St. Louis area residents to go More than Pink on Saturday, May 6 when the center hosts its breast cancer awareness event, in conjunction with Susan G. Komen Missouri.
The event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature representatives from Susan G. Komen Missouri to share informational material and facilitate registrations for the annual Greater St. Louis Race for the Cure, which will take place on June 10.
The event is in partnership Siteman Cancer Center, Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University St. Louis physicians to bring the Siteman Cancer Center Mammography Van to the center. Throughout the day, physicians will be conducting 20 minute two-view mammograms using state-of-the-art digital equipment. Mammograms will be billed to the patient and participants are encouraged to come prepared with their insurance card. Those interested can schedule a May 6 appointment at 314-747-7222 or www.sitemanmammogram.wustl.edu.

Komen’s mission to end breast cancer is one we whole-heartedly believe in,” said Liz Harry, director of marketing and business development at the center. “We’re thrilled to be able to connect our shoppers with the Siteman Cancer Center Mammography Van and representatives from Susan G. Komen to help fight the disease, right here in the St. Louis metro area.”
