Westport Playhouse: Girls Night Out the Musical

The recent run of “Girls Night: The Musical” at the Playhouse @ Westport Plaza featured a familiar face. Gazelle publisher Cillah Hall had her star turn on stage with a walk-on role that had her lip-synching to Gloria Gaynor’s “I Am What I Am.” The musical, currently on its 10th anniversary tour, tells the story of longtime friends who get together to relive their past, celebrate their present and look to their future. And in true art-imitating-life form, the evening’s audience included a group of former employees of Ozark Air Lines, which was purchased by Trans World Airlines in 1986.
