Billboard’s 2019 Women in Music awards show is one that will go down in the books. This year, the lead host was Hayley Kiyoko, with co-hosts Chelsea Briggs, Lele Pons and Danica Daniel, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The show was filled with memorable moments. Nicki Minaj gave a moving acceptance speech for The Game Changer award, attributing recently deceased music artist, Juice Wrld. Taylor Swift accepted the Billboard Woman of the Decade award, while practically ripping record executive Scooter Braun apart in her speech that focused on institutionalized sexism in the music industry.
