More than 100 guests tuned in for the 2020 virtual St. Louis Press Club and Neiman Marcus “Beauty Buzz” fundraiser on Sept. 12, hosted by beauty experts representing Bobbie Brown, Chantecaille and La Mer.
The event – hosted by Fox 2 news anchor and reporter Jasmine Huda – raised more than $11,000 for journalism scholarships. Guests enjoyed a morning of virtual pampering with makeup and skincare tips, while helping support deserving journalism students.
“Our sincere thanks to our incomparable Beauty Buzz co-chairs Phyllis Langsdorf and Miran Halen for their incredible leadership during this difficult time,” said William Greenblatt, president of St. Louis Press Club. “This year’s Beauty Buzz was truly a success thanks to their leadership, as well as our event sponsors and our partner for the last 11 years, Neiman Marcus.”
Beauty Buzz has awarded nearly $600,000 in scholarships to journalism and media students over the last 36 years.
