Wild Lights, the Saint Louis Zoo light display that has become an annual holiday tradition for many, is opening to the public the day after Thanksgiving. Featuring more than a million holiday lights amid an animal-themed arctic wonderland, Wild Lights will make its return on Friday, Nov. 27, and run on select dates through Jan. 2.
Display highlights will include Starry Safari, Sparkling Savanna, Jungle Bell Rock and Lovebirds Lookout. Carolers and other strolling live performances will be available on weekend nights. Campfire s’mores, as well as other food and drink, will be available for purchase throughout the zoo.
Enhanced COVID-19 protocols and procedures are being implemented, including limited capacity to allow for proper social distancing and mask requirements for guests ages 9 and older.
Wild Lights will be open from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- Friday-Sunday, Nov. 27 to 29
- Wednesday-Sunday, Dec. 2 to 6
- Nightly, Dec. 9 to 23 and Dec. 26 to Jan. 2
Timed-ticket reservations are required and must be purchased in advance online. There will be no tickets available at the door.
Tickets prices are:
- Monday-Thursday: $9.95 (members), $10.95 (non-members, ages 2+)
- Friday-Sunday: $11.95 (members), $12.95 (non-members, ages 2+)
