New Outdoor Concert Venue Debuts in Maryland Heights

St. Louis’ newest outdoor concert venue has announced a lineup of more than two dozen shows for its inaugural season beginning in August.

Saint Louis Music Park, a 4,500-seat multipurpose facility in Maryland Heights, is part of the Centene Community Ice Center, the official practice facility of the St. Louis Blues. The center’s covered outdoor ice arena will make the transition from skating rink to concert venue during the summer season, with covered pavilion seating, a beer garden, an all-weather lawn and a lake providing concertgoers with a park-like setting.

This season’s concert lineup, presented by Live Nation, features headliners like Jason Mraz, Wilco, Counting Crows, Faith No More, Machine Gun Kelly, 311 and St. Louis’ own The Urge.

A preview event will be held Friday, July 16, to give concertgoers an exclusive sneak peek at the venue, with a limited number of general admission tickets ($10 each) sold for the show. Street Fighting Band, a Rolling Stones tribute band, is slated to perform.
