An outdoor concert series kicking off this fall hopes to revitalize Laclede’s Landing as a vital part of St. Louis’ musical heritage.
Local concert promoter Jamo Presents is re-launching “The Lot on the Landing” outdoor concert series next to the former Mississippi Nights location, which has hosted legendary musical acts over the years.
“The Lot on the Landing” series, presented in partnership with the STLMade campaign, will take place Sept. 16 through Oct. 10 and will feature national touring and local acts such as The Dead South, Lettuce, Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass, Talib Kweli, Cherub and more.
In addition, organizers have partnered with local vendors to have cocktails by STL Barkeep, beers by Schlafly and food by Sugarfire Events available for purchase on site.
The concert series is another step in the Landing’s next chapter as a comfortable and vibrant urban neighborhood on the doorstep of Gateway Arch National Park and downtown St. Louis, according to Brian Minges, president of the Laclede’s Landing Community Improvement District.
“We are excited that our friends at Jamo Presents are building on the Landing’s unique legacy for great music,” Minges said.
Tickets for “The Lot on The Landing” will go on sale Tuesday, July 27. For more information, visit Jamo Presents’ official website.
