It will be fabulous, indeed, for the Fox Theatre’s 40th year. The Fabulous Fox today announced its upcoming 2022-2023 Broadway Series, with the Tony Award-winning musical, “Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations,” kicking off the season later this year.
The U.S. Bank Broadway Series at the Fox opens Sept. 20, with “Ain’t Too Proud,” the 2019 Tony Award winner for Best Choreography. Next up is “Hadestown,” the 2019 Tony Award winner for Best Musical and 2020 Grammy Award winner for Best Musical Theater Album. Disney’s “Frozen,” the new original musical, “Six,” Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird,” “Tootsie,” “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Wicked” are also in the lineup.
In addition, seven additional Broadway shows are being offered as series specials, including “A Christmas Carol,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Cirque Dreams Holidaze,” “Elf The Musical,” “Beautiful – The Carole King Musical,” “Les Miserables” and “Blue Man Group.”
