From now until Monday, Aug. 15, all Schnucks grocery stores are hosting a “Shop Out Hunger” food drive to support food pantries, homeless shelters and other similar organizations throughout the St. Louis metro area.
Shoppers may drop off canned goods, cereals, pasta, peanut butter and other non-perishable food items with a collection volunteer or a donation bin, located at the front of every store.
The food drive is available at all 112 Schnucks stores in the Midwest. Every year, the company donates more than $13 million in food to pantries that help individuals and families in need.
