The St. Louis Blues have announced a first-of-its-kind preseason event, Blues & Brews, to be held at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery.
Touted as an outdoor street party on the grounds of the brewery, Blues & Brews will be held Friday, Sept. 22, featuring live performances by country music star Chris Lane and St. Louis blues artist Marquise Knox. Also on tap are appearances by Blues players and alumni, food trucks and more.
The event is part of the Blues’ season-long effort to celebrate the impact of blues music on the city’s history and the origins of the team’s name. In addition to live music, current and former Blues players and broadcasters will take the stage to welcome fans back to the start of the season, which officially kicks off against the Dallas Stars in Dallas Oct. 12. (The Blues’ first home game against Seattle is set for Oct. 14.) Attendees can also visit the Clydesdale stables, play games in the Biergarten, and enjoy food and drink available for purchase from food trucks and pop-up bars on site. Guests 21 and older receive a complimentary Bud Light or bottled water.
Doors to the event will open at 6 p.m. and free parking will be available in front of the tour center and other nearby lots. Attendees are allowed to bring their own lawn chairs, but they must be removed from any cover or bag.
Tickets are $20 per person at available on the St. Louis Blues website.
