Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery has won a Silver Sofi Award for its Gooey Butter Cake ice cream, and a Bronze Sofi Award for its Salted Crack Caramel flavor. The Specialty Food Association’s Sofi Awards have honored the best specialty foods for 47 years.

The award honorees, who are selected through a blind tasting process, are true innovators in their categories.

“I am honored to win such a prestigious award,” said Tamara Keefe, owner of St. Louis’ Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery. “I strive every day to make the best ice cream in America, and it’s both humbling and exciting to see our decadent flavors getting global recognition!”

Judging took place over 12 days in the professional chef kitchen at the Specialty Food Association offices in New York. Judges were selected based on their expertise, experience and qualifications. The Specialty Food Association is a nonprofit trade association, providing its members with the tools, knowledge and connections to support a thriving specialty food marketplace.
