The Angad Arts Hotel has unveiled its renovated event space, “The Vaude,” a 3,080-square-foot venue for weddings and other special gatherings.
The space, the hotel’s former Grand Ballroom, has been updated to reflect the Angad’s more modern, artistic aesthetic. The rebrand is a nod to vaudeville’s presence in the Grand Center Arts District in Midtown, where the hotel sits on Grand Boulevard at the site of the former Missouri Theater in the 1920s. The theater was the original home of the Missouri Rockets, which later became the Radio City Rockettes.
Updated features include dinner seating for 225 people and up to 350 people for a cocktail setting. The renovation work expanded the entry doorway to open up the space, as well enhanced the room’s original concrete floors and exposed brick walls and pillars. New track lighting, drop-down screens and projectors and a house-surround system were also added.
The Angad Arts Hotel provides full-service catering and bar options in the venue. Click here to inquire about The Vaude and for booking information.
