It’s almost time for one of St. Louis’ most inspirational, uplifting events: The 16th annual TOGETHER! Engaging Women – Empowering Girls Brunch takes place Saturday, April 22, at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis.
Proceeds raised from Together! support the mission of Safe Connections, one of the region’s longest-running and largest organizations working to prevent and end domestic and sexual violence. Founded more than 40 years ago, Safe Connections works to reduce the impact and incidence of violence, as well as help survivors thrive, with its award-winning services and programs in prevention education, crisis intervention – including a 24-hour crisis helpline – and therapy.
The event begins at 10 a.m., and will feature brunch, a silent auction, a raffle and a youth panel who will present their inspirational stories that focus on success, safety and self-respect. Silent auction items include a four-night stay at the Lake of the Ozarks, designer purses, fun experiences and more.
