Not in the mood to party ‘til the cows come home? Family-friendly New Year’s Eve events are being held across the St. Louis area, including at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park and at City Museum downtown.
Celebrate the arrival of the new year with a Noon Year’s Eve celebration at the Missouri History Museum!
The free, family-friendly event takes place throughout the museum on Saturday, Dec. 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Enjoy art activities, winter-themed games and a performance by Fire Dog to count down to the big event: a balloon drop when the clock strikes noon!
For details, visit the Missouri History Museum event page.
Later in the day, the City Museum throws its own celebration from 5 to 9 p.m. with the Family-Friendly New Year’s Eve Party, complete with holiday karaoke, a dance party, Circus Harmony stilt walkers, and games like Jenga, cornhole and more. At 8:30, participate in a non-alcoholic toast to the new year and pop the balloons from the balloon drop for a chance to win prizes.
Festivities are included with general admission or a City Museum membership. The Misfit Holiday Bar or Beatnik Bob’s will be open for grown-up fun.
