Civil Alchemy and Fauxgerty Celebrate Partnership Friday

Two St. Louis area-based companies with similar values are joining forces in an exciting new partnership.

Civil Alchemy just announced its collaboration with the socially conscious Fauxgerty, in the latter’s first partnership with another brand.

Fauxgerty’s simple, yet timeless silhouettes in ethical textiles and patterns melds perfectly with Civil Alchemy and its pursuit of functional, quality and inspired goods.

The release party for the new collaboration will take place from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 26, at Civil Alchemy on Big Ben Boulevard in Webster Groves.

“We’re so excited to be working with a St. Louis brand that is making garments domestically,” said Kelley Hall-Barr, owner of Civil Alchemy. “It was great getting to meet Chrissy and Jon. They are such great people, who were open to collaboration, and they really understood our direction.”

Fauxgerty owner Chrissy Fogerty said, “Our collaboration was a fun and exciting process — the silhouettes debuting at Civil Alchemy will come in classic colors and preppy patterns, and are warm-weather staples. Kelley has a keen eye for design, and we are honored Fauxgerty will reside in one of St. Louis’ best retail spaces.”

Civil Alchemy is a lifestyle retail company offering functional, quality, and inspired goods. The multi-faceted store in Webster Groves features products from housewares and apparel, to specialty foods and beverages. Other items include wine, unique liqueurs, tools and personal accessories, including leather and jewelry. Along with goods sourced from premier local, national and international vendors, the company has launched its own brand of products designed in-house and created with high-quality materials. Hall-Barr formerly owned international personal care and home fragrance company K. hall designs, which she sold in 2015.

Fauxgerty is a woman-owned business committed to people and the planet. That means sustainable fabrics, ethical factories, and a team that feels like family. Its silhouettes transition with you, and are made to last and adapt, season to season. The brand includes a team of designers, thinkers and makers invested in creating socially conscious clothing that looks and feels good.

With cocktails and bites, Friday’s release party will provide an opportunity to get to know people in the area and to take a peak at all of the goods.
