There’s a new head chef in the kitchen at Commonwealth, the on-site restaurant at the Angad Arts Hotel in Grand Center.
St. Louis native Lauren Anthony, who most recently served as sous chef at Commonwealth, has been named the restaurant’s executive chef. Anthony, whose previous experience also includes J. Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood and Gulf Shores Restaurant & Grill, has culinary expertise in seafood and fish, as well as elevating comfort dishes.
With Anthony at the helm, a new menu has also been introduced and includes offerings such as Roasted Half Chicken, Seafood Ravioli and Pan-Seared Snapper.
Commonwealth, located on the hotel’s first floor, is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
