Two St. Louis institutions are partnering to boost enjoyment and awareness of the arts in the community.
The partnership between St. Louis County Library (SLCL) and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO) aims to foster a deeper appreciation for symphonic music among area residents.
Vouchers for free St. Louis Symphony concerts are now available at all SLCL branches. Each voucher provides a library patron up to two tickets to a classical concert or up to four tickets to a family concert for first-time SLSO attendees. There is a limit of one voucher per patron, while supplies last.
The collaboration emphasizes both organizations’ commitment to inclusivity and education. By providing free concert tickets to new audiences, the partnership seeks to introduce classical music to the broader community, breaking down barriers and making the cultural experience of symphonic music accessible to all.
During the expansion and renovation of Powell Hall, the SLSO is performing at other area venues, including The Touhill and Stifel Theatre.
