Due to COVID-19, organizations have had to adapt to virtual platforms for their fund-raising efforts, but that necessary change comes with its own set of challenges, from audio and video to that special cocktail reception and dinner experience.
After the recent announcement about socially distanced wedding opportunities, the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis today unveiled an exclusive “gala to-go” package to support the event needs of local organizations. The hotel is providing them the ability to intimately gather on-property while connecting with event-goers in the comfort of their own homes.
“We are a full-service option for celebration; whether it be an intimate gathering in-person, hybrid to-go option or fully virtual event. Our talented team can deliver an unforgettable experience for a group of any size,” said general manager, Alper Oztok.
Here’s how it works: A Four Seasons team member will meet with an organization to curate a special menu by creating a three-course meal with wine pairings for the evening. The Four Seasons events team will prepare and package the meal in heat-safe containers, add selected bottles of wine, gala programs and virtual auction-bidding instructions. All items will be nicely assembled in a black Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis box and prepared for delivery.
Volunteers from the organization can then pick-up the gala to-go boxes and deliver to attendees, or event attendees can pick up their box curbside through the hotel valet. As an intimate group of key members from the organization gather in the spacious ballroom, the hotel’s audio-visual team will be on-hand to virtually launch the event and assist with audio-visual needs, as well as virtual bidding for live auction items.
