For many St. Louisans, it’s not officially the holidays until they visit Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
The ninth annual holiday light display promises to be even bigger this year with more lights and more nights, from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, to Saturday, Jan. 8, except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, when Garden Glow will be closed.
See more than 1 million lights, as well as enjoy photo opportunities, food, drinks, music, traditional favorites and new experiences such as dancing 3-foot-tall lilies at the “Springtime” installation. The garden’s Victorian District has 100 flickering lanterns, paying homage to Christmases past, and some 2,000 lights have been added near the giant snow globe, which is once again open for everyone’s favorite holiday photo opp.
Santa himself will be at Garden Glow Nov. 19, 22, 23, 29 and 30, and Dec. 6, 7, 13 and 14.
Tickets range from $3 to $20, with advanced tickets strongly encouraged to guarantee the date/time of your choosing. Masks are required for all visitors 5 and older when indoors and highly recommended outdoors.
