For five days this year, the Gateway Arch will offer free admission, including tickets for tram rides to the top of the monument.
It’s all part of a National Park Service program offering free admission nationwide to sites that normally charge an entrance fee. At Gateway Arch National Park, the $3 entrance fee included in each adult Tram Ride to the Top ticket is waived, as well as admission to see the Documentary Movie inside the Arch. Entrance to the Museum at the Gateway Arch is free year-round. The dates for fee-free days are:
- Monday, Jan. 17: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Saturday, April 16: First day of National Park Week
- Thursday, Aug. 4: Great American Outdoors Act anniversary
- Friday, Sept. 24: National Public Lands Day
- Friday, Nov. 11: Veterans Day
