Award-winning actor Jennifer Coolidge will be in St. Louis next month to deliver the 2024 commencement address at Washington University.
Known for her quirky, iconic roles such as in the 1999 box-office hit, “American Pie,” as well as in HBO’s “The White Lotus,” Coolidge will speak at the May 13 ceremony on Francis Field, addressing more than 3,400 graduates, their families and friends. She will also receive an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts.
Coolidge won back-to-back Emmy Awards for her portrayal of fan-favorite Tanya McQuoid in “The White Lotus,” a role that also earned her two Critics Choice awards, as well as Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards. Her upcoming work includes starring opposite Bill Murray, Ed Harris and Lewis Pullman in the crime thriller, “Riff Raff.” Coolidge also recently wrapped production alongside Jack Black and Jason Momoa for “Minecraft,” a movie based on the bestselling video game.
