It’s a big weekend for the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.
Rally for The Rep: A Holiday Benefit Experience is this Sunday, Dec. 17, with actor John Goodman as the evening’s headliner.
The event is an effort to boost fundraising for The Rep, following its earlier announcement of a projected $2.5 million budget shortfall. The ensuing Rally for The Rep campaign set a goal to raise the same amount by the end of the calendar year to continue the theatre’s 2023-2024 season.
Goodman, who will be joined by other guests, will lead a front-stage conversation with insights, anecdotes and a special holiday treat. The event will also feature a performance by The Lovettes, in a salute to female icons and girl groups of the ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s.
Tickets range from $50 to $500, with some including a pre-show meet-and-greet with Goodman. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit The Rep’s website.
