Nelly’s star-studded Black and White Ball is back on St. Louis’ social calendar after a six-year absence.
The black-tie, invitation-only event, hosted by the Grammy Award-winning rap superstar, will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis and feature special guest Ozzie Smith.
Nelly will recognize the 15-time MLB All-Star and Cardinals Hall of Famer during the event, where invited guests will include a diverse group of friends from the entertainment, sports and business communities.
The 11th Black and White Ball will raise funds for Make-A-Wish Missouri and will support its work to grant wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses in the St. Louis area. The event also funds scholarships for local students to attend Harris-Stowe State University.
The event was held every year from 2006 to 2016 before taking a hiatus. In the past, Nelly has been joined by the likes of Janet Jackson, Allen Iverson, Nick Cannon, T-Pain, Jermaine Dupri, Evander Holyfield, Boyz II Men Ashanti, Marshall Faulk, D.L. Hughley, Johnny Gill, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, En Vogue, Bill Bellamy, DMC from Run-DMC, Jim Edmonds, Orlando Pace and Torry Holt, among others.
