Pretty in Pink Drink (as featured on The Stir)

Volume 5 of the SIP Series on The Stir has host Trish Muyco-Tobin (right) and movie maven Debbie Baldwin waxing poetic about the most righteous ’80s.

This installment of the SIP (Shelter in Place) Series has host Trish Muyco-Tobin and featured guest Debbie Baldwin reliving their teenage years and reminiscing about shoulder pads and fingerless gloves, as if! The show features the most iconic movies from the ‘80s starring some of the decade’s biggest stars, as picked by Debbie, a longtime movie and entertainment columnist, author and sitcom creator and producer.

Join the fun and chill out with the Binge Besties with the Pretty in Pink Drink, a milky, marshmallow-y homage to the stellar ‘80s!

PRETTY IN PINK DRINK

Ingredients*

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of Strawberry Nesquik (use 3 tablespoons if you prefer a more intense strawberry flavor)
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz. milk
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Scoop 2 to 3 heaping tablespoons of Strawberry Nesquik into large mixing bowl. Add whipping cream and mix with spoon or rubber spatula until moistened.
  2. Use a hand mixer (or whisk) to beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy, approximately 2-3 minutes.
  3.  Pour cold milk into a tall glass. Add ice, if you prefer (recommended!); spoon strawberry mixture on top.

*Recipe can be easily doubled for two servings

*For chocolate lovers: Substitute 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa and 2 tablespoons sugar (per serving) for Strawberry Nesquik. Proceed as directed.
