The ball is a charity event that supports the Clara Lionel Foundation, which Rihanna created in honor of her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwate. The foundation’s mission is to take on issues such as climate change and education access on a global scale. The ball consisted of various performances from major artists, including Pharrell Williams, Cardi B, DJ Khaled and Rihanna herself.
