The Saint Louis Club is celebrating its 60th year with a new home and new offerings.
What started as an idea among four businessmen looking for a place to meet, gather and experience world-class dining, the private dining club opened in the Pierre Laclede Building in Clayton in 1964 with 400 founding and charter members.
Today, the Saint Louis Club is a gathering place for the area’s leading executives, entrepreneurs, civic leaders and philanthropists. Its new location at 7676 Forsyth Blvd. continues to offer exceptional culinary offerings in an intimate, redesigned space with 10 private rooms for meetings, large gatherings and celebrations, as well as dining options in the bistro and the St. Louis Room. The new interiors feature high-end finishes, custom millwork and dramatic lighting, as well as one-of-a-kind murals by local artists to honor both the club’s and the city’s history.
Executive chef Mathieu Lefebvre, who trained in Michelin-Star restaurants in France, oversees the club’s new 8,000-square-foot kitchen, directing a team of chefs from around the world. The kitchen features a glass-enclosed Chef’s Table, where members can enjoy a private, seven-course meal prepared before their eyes.
In addition to fine-dining experience, the club also offers live music, cooking and cocktail classes, networking events and more. For membership information, visit the Saint Louis Club website.
