Savor Summertime with Seasonal Menu Offerings

Soak in some sun while sipping and savoring seasonal food and drink specials around town all summer long.

The bar on the second floor of Tony’s restaurant has launched Toast & Taste on weeknights. Featuring an exclusive midweek appetizer menu and drink specials, Toast & Taste takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Menu highlights include Maryland Crabcakes, Bluepoint Oysters, Asian-Style Spareribs and House-Made Onion Rings, complemented by a rotating selection of cocktail and wine specials.

The rooftop bar atop the Angad Arts Hotel is open for the season, which features a lineup of events and live music and DJs, as well as a new food and beverage menu. The rooftop patio is open Monday through Thursday, 4 to 10 p.m.; Friday, 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday, noon to 1 a.m.; and Sunday, noon to 10 p.m.

Salads, flatbreads, cheese and charcuterie plates and more are featured on the special menu, along with a selection of cocktails and mocktails using seasonal ingredients like passion fruit, guava, fresh herbs and more.

Spritz Hour at the Bistro takes place Wednesday through Sunday, from 5 to 6 p.m. featuring summery spritzes, snacks and more.

Enjoy spritzes such as Bordeaux (Lillet Blanc, citrus, gentania), Paris (elderflower, salers, sparkling wine, club soda) and the nonalcoholic La Petite Grenade (pomegranate, lime, cucumber and mint tonic) alongside Maine Oysters, Citrus Marinated Olives, Spring Radishes and Dill Butter, and Golden Kaluga Caviar.

A new Glass in the Garden cocktail menu, inspired by the art of Italian blown glass sculpture, is available from 4 to 10 p.m. through Oct. 15. A collaboration with acclaimed bartender Tom Wiggins (Yellowbelly, Retreat Gastropub), the colorful cocktails are exclusive to the hotel as a project for Wiggins’ new cocktail consulting company, Bangers Only.

Selections include Golden Hour Daquiri (Appleton Jamaican run, Big Heart Tea Co. Sunshine Dust, almond orgeat, lime juice), Translucent Garden (Henricks gin, aloe vera liqueur, Velvet Falernum, Lillet Blanc, lime acid), Glacial Spike (Grey Goose vodka, pineapple, coconut, blue curaçao, lemon juice, ginger beer) and Jasmine Chandelier (Buffalo Trace bourbon, jasmine-infused sweet vermouth, bitters).

Take in the views of the Gateway Arch and the Mississippi River from atop Cinder Bar at the Four Seasons Hotel as you enjoy Taco Tuesdays (2 p.m. to close, Tuesdays through October) and Tiki Thursdays (6 to 8 p.m., Thursdays through Labor Day).

On Taco Tuesdays, pair a variety of margarita offerings (classic, spicy, watermelon, berry, peach and mango) with a taco menu of Smoked Pork Carnitas, Mahi Mahi and Falafel. On Thursdays, enjoy a Polynesian-themed evening with crafted cocktails such as the Zombie, Painkiller, Mai Tai, Pearl Diver and Banana Daquiri, all served in tiki-themed glassware. Cinder Bar’s food menu features South American-influenced offerings such as Jalea (crispy shrimp and squid), Brazilian Cheese Pastels and Charred Onion Dip.
