Festival of Nations Prepares for Its Return to Tower Grove Park

The Festival of Nations returns to Tower Grove Park later this month with more than 50 performing acts and 100 food and retail vendors.

Established in 1934, the festival has grown to become the region’s biggest celebration of music, food, art and traditions from around the world, drawing approximately 100,000 people to the park each year.

This year, more than 75 countries will be represented at the two-day event on Aug. 26 and 27 through performers, authentic food, vendors and community information booths.

Performing acts will include local cultural groups such as Alma de Mexico, Samanvita Kasthuri, Spirit of Angela, Deepshikha Banerjee, Dizzy Atmosphere and more, as well internationally known performers like Pink Sweat$, Tennille Amor, Ricky Kej, Walshy Fire, Shacko & Akim, Logan Mize and others.

Market vendors include Ecuadorian Handcrafts, Illari Peru, Plant Betch, Ousmane Thiam, The Seny Collection, Wei Dance and more. Food and beverage vendors include Tiger Street Food, Tee Rak Thai, Rockwell Beer Company, Balkan Treasure, Bread & Bake and FUFU n’ Sauce.

The festival, presented by the International Institute of St. Louis, is free to attend, but VIP ticket packages are available for purchase. VIP packages include access to Piper Palm House with air-conditioned lounging areas, a shaded patio, yard games and more.
