Look for two new restaurants and a residential community to start taking shape at Westport Plaza in the next couple of years.
The announcement comes following news that iconic sporting goods manufacturer Rawlings is moving its world headquarters to Westport Plaza’s 42-acre complex.
In a news conference this morning, Lodging Hospitality Management (LHM), owners of Westport Plaza, announced the arrival of two new restaurants: Soda Fountain Express and 360 West.
Soda Fountain Express is a nod to the original Soda Fountain diner at St. Louis Union Station (also owned by LHM). The retro-style eatery will feature traditional diner items like burgers and fries, as well as its popular “Freak Shakes,” super-sized, over-the-top ice cream desserts. Soda Fountain Express will open at the former Panera location next summer.
The other new LHM-owned restaurant, 360 West, will be located atop Westport’s Gold Tower. Much like the original 360 downtown at Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, the new space will be an indoor/outdoor establishment. The Westport location will offer lunch, dinner and creative cocktails with terrace views of St. Louis County.
In addition, Westport’s first residential community is expected to open in January 2025. The Porter Apartment Homes will have 255 one- and two-bedroom units, as well as garage space, a community Club Room, fitness and yoga center, and access to a private courtyard, pool and spa.
LHM also announced renovations to Westport’s two Sheraton hotels will be completed by next year, creating space within the plaza for concerts and other outdoor special events.
I am very interested in a 2 bedroom apartment at the Porter, & would like to take a tour as soon as they are available. Thank you.
