Emmy Award-winning comedian, writer, actress and producer Wanda Sykes is bringing her “Please & Thank You” tour to St. Louis.
“Please & Thank You” marks the comic’s return to touring. She can currently be seen in season four of “The Upshaws,” the Netflix comedy for which she also serves as showrunner. Sykes is nominated for two 2023 Primetime Emmy Awards for her latest Netflix Special, “Wanda Sykes; I’m and Entertainer.” She won as Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series for her work on “The Chris Rock Show.”
Tickets ($45, $55, $65 and $85) for the Friday, June 14, show at Stifel Theatre are on sale now via wandasykes.com and through Ticketmaster.
The event is billed as a phone-free experience, with the use of phones, smart watches and accessories not permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the theater. Anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.
