Some of St. Louis’ most accomplished women are being honored by the YWCA Metro St. Louis as this year’s Leaders of Distinction.

The honorees will be recognized during the organization’s 42nd annual Leader Lunch on Friday, Dec. 2, and will join the YWCA’s Academy of Leaders from the past four decades.

The 2022 YWCA Leaders of Distinction honorees are: Sheila Burkett, co-founder and CEO of Spry Digital; Rhonda Carter Adams, director of talent and inclusion of Dot Foods;
Simone Cummings, dean of the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology at Webster University; Hazel Donald, philanthropist and community volunteer; Qiaoni Linda Jing, president, CEO and board director of Genective; Cheryl Jones, president and CEO of Girls Incorporated of St. Louis; Emily Martin, chief operating officer of Guarantee Electrical Company; Kim Norwood, professor of law at Washington University School of Law; and Erika Schenk, general counsel and executive vice president of corporate compliance at World Wide Technology.

The achievement of the honorees reflects the overarching message of the YWCA Leader Lunch – one of talent, persistence, work ethic and sisterhood. Nominees are put forward by their peers and are selected by a panel based on their professional achievements and contributions to the community.

Leader Lunch on Dec. 2 begins at noon at St. Louis Union Station Hotel. For more information on tickets and sponsorships, visit ywcastl.org.
