St. Louis Brand, 2Lu, Announces Hat Sale to Raise Money for Koalas

The bushfires in Australia have caught the world’s attention, and videos of injured and burned koalas have been heartbreaking, to say the least.

St. Louis brand, 2Lu, recently announced it is hosting a hat sale to raise funds for the koalas.

2Lu’s customized apparel includes hats, T-shirts and sweats. It is now selling its popular Deuce Double Pom Hats with half of all proceeds to benefit the Koala Hospital in Australia.

The hats are offered in two different colors, Pitch (black) and Ice (natural white). They will be sold for $28, with $14 to the Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia.

The hospital in Port Macquarie is providing urgent medical care to the koala population heavily impacted during the catastrophic fires in the Mid Coast North region. In addition,  automatic animal watering stations are being placed in the scorched animal habitat areas.

There are 250 of each hat color available. If sold out, over $6,000 will be raised. The hats are first-come, first-served, so purchase one for you and a friend, while supplies last.

The koala hat sale is available only by ordering online at shop2lu.com, but can be picked up at Lusso in Clayton, Fun in the Sun in Kirkwood, and Too Blue Boutique in Columbia, Illinois.

Visit koalahospital.org.au for more information on the hospital.
