The magic of puppetry, performance art and physical theater will combine to bring a new, exciting attraction to this year’s Saint Louis Art Fair.
Animals on stilts will be walking the streets at the three-day festival courtesy of Animal Cracker Conspiracy, a San Diego-based, award-winning contemporary collaborative hybrid puppet company. The strolling animal stilt characters have performed all over the country, “bringing bubbles and joy to all.”
The Saint Louis Art Fair, one of the top fine art festivals in the country, takes place Sept. 6 to 8 in downtown Clayton. The three-day event will feature more than 180 artists from across the county and the world, representing a variety of media.
In addition, the Creative Castle returns this year, providing hands-on art experiences for children. Live music and entertainment from local artists and theatre groups will be performed on three stages. Admission to the fair is free.
