City Foundry STL is marking its first-ever Pride Month celebration with a four-day event next week.
Beginning Tuesday, June 21, through Friday, June 24, City Foundry is hosting a string of free-to-the-public events in celebration of the queer community. The list includes a Pride Week Bodyweight Bootcamp, a “Made with Pride” vendor market, and an LGBTQ+ Trivia Night.
In addition, select eateries at the Food Hall will offer Pride Month specials throughout June, such as a Funfetti Liege Waffle from Press Waffle Co., Rainbow Fries from 4 Hens Creole Kitchen and drink specials form The Kitchen Bar.
The Bodyweight Bootcamp on June 21 will be presented by TruFusion STL, a fitness and yoga studio whose second location opened at City Foundry earlier this year. The free workout begins at 5:30 p.m. and is for all fitness levels. Participants are asked to arrive early to register and to bring their own yoga mat.
The “Made with Pride” three-day pop-up vendor market, curated by Tower Grove Pride, will take place June 22 (3 to 8 p.m.), 23 (3 to 8 p.m.) and 24 (3 to 9 p.m.). More than 50 local LGBTQ+-owned vendors are participating.
On June 23, from 7 to 9 p.m., The Food Hall will host an LGBTQ+ Trivia Night. Questions will include queer history from St. Louis and beyond, as well as pop culture and more. Guests are invited to pick up dinner from any of the Food Hall kitchens before or during the contest.
