Join us for Lift for Life Academy’s ninth annual Celebrating Success Fashion Show on Sunday, April 28, at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis!
This year, 27 fashion students, grades 9 to 12, will model the unique designs they’ve created during a special runway show not to be missed. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. with registration, cocktails and a silent auction, followed by lunch and the program. In addition to the fashion show, musical entertainment will also be provided by Lift for Life students.
Event chairs are Sharon Colona, Tim Lovejoy Dailey and Emily Pitts. Honorary chairs are Susan Block, Jan Goldstein and Marylen Mann.
Proceeds from the event benefit educational services for Lift for Life Academy, founded in 2000 as the first independent charter school in the city of St. Louis. The school in Soulard serves almost 600 students in grades 6 to 12 from throughout the city, offering a private school atmosphere, while all programs and services are provided at no cost to students and their families. The school is supported by both state and federal funding and through fundraising. Graduation rates are at more than 90 percent—and at least 80 percent of graduates pursue college. technical school or the military.
