The Super Bowl of fashion, also known as the Met Gala, was postponed due to the COVID-19. Every year, since 1946, the event has taken place on the first Monday of May.
The world’s most significant celebrities in music, cinema, fashion and entertainment go all out for the event. It is always an impressive display of art and fashion, highlighting the most creative looks in the world. Every theme tells a story.
In 2018, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” showcased holy items from the Vatican. A couple of years earlier was “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” which examined the enigmatic relationship between handcrafted and machine-made items in the ever-changing fashion world.
