Coffee, anyone? St. Louis’ newest coffee shop is now open at City Foundry STL in midtown.
Century Coffee Company officially debuted Friday, Dec. 1, as the first stand-alone shop at the food hall. Curated by general manager Matt Foster, the 2019 U.S. Coffee in Good Spirits Champion, the elevated coffee concept features a new generation of super-automatic espresso machines and blends from top local roasteries, such as a custom Century Coffee Company blend from Goshen Coffee Roasters, Blueprint Coffee, Switch Coffee Collective and more.
The 795-square-foot coffee shop is serving up “A Smarter Sip” with Eversys, the latest super-automatic espresso machine, programmed and operated by industry-trained baristas. The shop features a complete espresso-forward setup, with various coffee roasters from all over the world, as well as rotating guest roasters on drip.
The name, Century Coffee, is a nod to the original roots of City Foundry, which once housed Century Electric. The coffee shop pays homage to the electrical innovation of the former manufacturing hub.
Century Coffee Company is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
