The secret is out! The Fox and Hounds Tavern at the Cheshire Inn is the home of St. Louis’ newest cocktail pop-up!
From The Cheshire’s lobby, a mysterious bookcase opens into the cozy tavern, which recreates a gathering room in an English home.
The pop-up speakeasy features a new cocktail menu with irresistible offerings such as Millionaire (bourbon, Grand Marnier, absinthe, grenadine and lemon juice), White Lightning (gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, egg white and bitters), Giggle Juice (bourbon, raspberry liqueur, lemon juice, sugar and bubbles), The Hemingway (rum, lime, Luxardo and grapefruit) and Bronx (gin, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth and orange juice).
Plus, there’s the extensive drink list the pub is known for, with dozens of Irish, American and Scottish whisky varieties, along with a menu of English-inspired eats like Coventry Fish & Chips, Bangers and Mashed, and Liverpool Wings.
The speakeasy at the Fox and Hounds will be open for a limited time, through Feb. 28.
