WHERE: Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park
WHEN: 8 p.m. nightly, except Mondays, May 29 to June 23
Shakespeare Festival St. Louis presents one of The Bard’s most enduring comedies, “Love’s Labors Lost.” The play tells the story of the Princess of France and her ladies on a diplomatic mission to Navarre, and what happens when they are met by a young king and his lords who have taken a vow not to see women. On an interesting note, “Love’s Labors Lost” features the single longest word in all of Shakespeare’s plays: honorificabilitudinitatibus, which means “of honor.”
