Take part in an evening of live art, entertainment, music, and food and drink in Maplewood during the annual Let Them Eat Art Festival.
The event, a whimsical tribute to Bastille Day, is in its 17th year and takes place on Friday, July 8, from 6 to 10 p.m. throughout downtown Maplewood.
More than 50 local and regional artists and musicians will be on hand creating art and performing live throughout the streets as they engage the public and talk about technique, processes and inspiration behind their work.
Performing as the event headliner on the Sutton Boulevard Main Stage is The Lady J Houston Show with flamenco guitarist Lliam Christy as the opening act. Other performers slated to appear are Bell Darris, The Remedy and Farshid Etniko.
The event also features family friendly entertainment, such as chalk drawing, aerial, hula hoop and fire acts, and belly dancers, as well as food and drink available for purchase and promotions from local retailers.
