The spots, stripes, scales, feathers and wings came out for A Zoo Ado, the biennial fundraiser to support the Saint Louis Zoo and its efforts to save endangered species here and beyond.
This year’s event, themed “Monarchs in the Moonlight,” encouraged “social butterflies” to show off their bold and bright colors as they made their way through the grounds to enjoy food and drink stations provided by the zoo’s executive chef and culinary team. Other highlights included carousel and train rides, live music by Party on the Moon, a bourbon tasting and a wine pull. Linda Hunter and Bill Schmidt served as event co-chairs.
