The Dark Room at The Grandel is set to reopen this Saturday, Nov. 13, offering another option for fall dining and entertainment in the Grand Center Arts District.
The Dark Room is featuring live music and food on Friday and Saturday evenings with tiered seating options: Premiere pricing includes reserved, low-top table seating near the stage with food service; Reserve pricing includes reserved high-top table or bar seating with food service; and General pricing includes standing room-only entry in bar area with no food service.
Some upcoming holiday shows at The Dark Room include: Eric Slaughter Group on Saturday, Nov. 26 ($15, $10, $5); Janet Evra feat. Stephen Martin on Sunday, Nov. 27 ($20, $10, $5); The Dhoruba Collective on Friday, Dec. 3 ($15, $10, $5); Mo Egeston All-Stars feat. special guest on Saturday, Dec. 4 ($20, $10, $5); Dave Grelle’s Playadors feat. Joanna Serenko on Friday, Dec. 10 ($25, $15, $5); and The Bosman Twins on Saturday, Dec. 11 ($30, $25, $15). Each concert start time varies. Visit The Dark Room’s website for a complete schedule.
Food service by personal chef and caterer Chef Zoe will include a rotating menu that will vary by show/performance time. Tickets are available via Metrotix.
In addition to the ticketed weekend shows, The Dark Room will continue to host its free, family-friendly weekly Wednesday Night Jazz Jam hosted by Bob DeBoo from 6 to 9 p.m. each Wednesday evening. A rotating calendar of photo exhibitions by local photographers will be on display on The Dark Room’s gallery walls, as well.
