A St. Louis couple has relaunched a specialty sunglasses line that combines Italian craftmanship with technology and a focus on active lifestyles.
Gary and Dana DiSalvo purchased Popticals in 2022. The brand was first introduced in 2016 and has been off the market since 2018 until the DiSalvos took over last year. Headquartered in Ellisville in West St. Louis County, the brand’s premium sunglasses are designed for on-the-go individuals who enjoy active lifestyles and the outdoors.
Each pair features artisanal frames crafted in Italy; high-performance, nylon-based lenses; and a patented rail system that ensures collapsibility and portability when the glasses are not in use.
Popticals offers 10 collections for men and women, featuring sunglasses for everyday use, as well as ones specifically designed for golf, fishing and skiing.
For each pair sold, Popticals makes a donation to the National Park Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the National Park Service, that provides support for more than 400 parks across the U.S.
The sunglasses are available online via the Popticals website.
