The Missouri History Museum’s new gift shop will make its debut next week.
Sold on St. Louis will open on Wednesday, Feb. 14 – the city’s 260th birthday – with items sourced from a carefully curated list of local vendors.
The new store concept will focus on featuring one-of-a-kind gifts, art and specialty items from vendors selected by the museum team after a year of visiting area farmers markets and pop-ups to find products that best represent the St. Louis community.
Familiar vendors such as Arch Apparel, Salt n Smoke, Golden Gems, Kakao Chocolate Company and Old Vienna will be sharing space with lesser-known small businesses like Old Judge Coffee, Blissfully Popped popcorn and Goat Eats, as well as Pure Perfection Candles and Ridge Trail Honey, whose products were only available online and will now have a presence at Sold on St. Louis.
A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Feb. 14 and feature a performance by the Red and Black Brass Band. Sold on St. Louis store hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours for Thursday Nights at the Museum events.
