Later this spring, 21c Museum Hotels will make its debut in downtown St. Louis.
21c Museum Hotel St. Louis will be the 10th property for the company, known for its innovative design, contemporary art displays and creative culinary offerings.
The St. Louis hotel, which is expected to open sometime this spring at 1528 Locust St., has announced the addition of two new dining spaces: Idol Wolf, which will offer tapas-style dining, and Good Press, a café and meeting place.
Overseeing both will be food and beverage director Dylan Rauhoff and executive chef Matt Daughaday (formerly of Reeds American Table and Juniper).
At Idol Wolf, pintxos and tapas-style small plates will anchor the menu, while larger plates such as paella, seafood and stews of Northern Spain will round it out. Iberian-inspired selections, made for sampling and sharing, will be crafted from local and seasonal ingredients.
The restaurant will have indoor and outdoor seating for approximately 100 guests, as well as a private 14-person dining area, lounge, bar and billiards room. Idol Wolf will initially serve dinner, with weekend brunch expected to become available at a later date.
The café, Good Press, will serve breakfast and lunch and feature local roasters, growers and purveyors such as Northwest Coffee and Big Heart Tea. Seating will be available in the café, as well as the hotel’s library.
