A rare event is something to raise a glass to. And Schlafly Beer is doing just that, in anticipation of next month’s spring solar eclipse.
The brewer has released Throwing Shade, a new 12-pack spring variety sampler with four different beers. The variety pack features the best of Schlafly’s brew styles from light to dark, including Eclipse IPA, Passion Fruit Galaxy Wheat, Shadow Bands Pilsner and Totality Black Lager. Each 12-pack has three of each of the four beers.
This isn’t the first time Schlafly has marked a celestial event. During the 2017 solar eclipse, Schlafly also released a special edition pack of the Summer Lager.
The new Throwing Shade sampler is available at local stores, as well as Schlafly’s four brewpubs across the St. Louis area, including Schlafly Tap Room, Schlafly Bottleworks, Schlafly Bankside and Schlafly Highland Square.
