An outdoor concert series featuring local musicians begins this week in Grand Center in Midtown St. Louis, with COVID-19 guidelines and social distancing protocol in place.
The Kranzberg Arts Foundation (KAF) and Jazz St. Louis are teaming up to present “Open Air,” an outdoor concert and dining experience with live music on Friday and Saturday nights, beginning Friday, Aug. 7 through the end of October.
The concerts will take place outside The Grandel, with food and beverages provided by The Dark Room, which is on-site.
The artist lineup for the first two weekends is as follows, with additional names to be announced later:
Friday, Aug. 7: Be.Be & The Neo-Souls
Saturday, Aug. 8: Brady Lewis Quartet
Friday, Aug. 14: Kaleb Kirby Quartet
Saturday, Aug. 15: Mark Harris II
Tickets are $10, with an additional $30 food-and-beverage minimum per guest. After guests purchase their tickets via Metrotix, they will be sent an online order form to pre-order food and drinks of their choice. Additional beverages will be available for purchase on the day of each event.
“Open Air” will take place in a spacious, covered, outdoor area next to The Grandel. To ensure guest and staff safety, limited, physically distant seating is available by reservation only for 5:30 or 8 p.m. seatings, with a limit of six guests per table. All guests are required to wear face masks at all times, except when seated at their reserved tables.
