St. Louis County Library to Host Popular Food Truck Fundraiser Next Month

Tickets are now available for St. Louis County Library Foundation’s popular Food Truck Finale in June.

To mark the conclusion of SLCL Foundation’s Fund the Need Week from June 6 to 10, the Food Truck Finale will be held on the grounds of Library Headquarters from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June. 10.

The event, which had its inaugural run in 2021, features several local food trucks, live entertainment and lawn games. Each $50 admission comes with access to all food trucks and two drink tickets, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

The food truck lineup includes The Crooked Boot (Southern Creole cuisine), The Spud Shack (gourmet potatoes), This N’ That Eatery (smoked turkey legs, wings and ribs, sandwiches and more) and Scoops (frozen treats). The Barley and Vine Drink Truck will also be on-site.

The SLCL Foundation set a goal of raising $225,000 during Fund the Need Week. Donations will be used to help fund social workers for patrons, support the St. Louis Storytelling Festival, tutoring programs and other ongoing literacy efforts in the region.
