Circus Flora’s New Season Underway at The Big Top

The Big Top is the place to be to catch Circus Flora this summer!

This season’s production, “The Quest for the Innkeeper’s Cask,” is running under The Big Top in Grand Center through July 3.

Inspired by the storied caverns underneath St. Louis, the new production takes the audience on a thrilling adventure in search of a fabled innkeeper’s ghost who’s said to be causing mischief around town. Circus Flora’s acrobats, daredevils, aerialists and other members of the troupe make their way “underground” but encounter more spirits, ghosts and ghouls lurking in the caves.

The troupe dazzles and delights as artists perform one exciting act after another, working to overcome their ghost-phobia and restore order in the town.

The production features new performers and crowd favorites, including returning acts The Flying Wallendas and their high-wire mastery, The Flying Cortez with their trapeze artistry, The Daring Horseman and the St. Louis Arches. New acts this year include Sam & Louis, who perform a “Russian cradle” aerial act; Trio Black Diamond, a balancing act from Ethiopia and more.

In addition to the show, midway activities feature face painting and pony rides. Upcoming theme nights include Hockey Night (June 22) and Pride Night (June 29).

Tickets start at $10. For more information, visit the Circus Flora website.
