Great St. Louisans Featured in New Walk of Fame Book

The extraordinary St. Louisans honored on the St. Louis Walk of Fame are once again being  immortalized – this time, through the pages of a new book.

“St. Louis Walk of Fame: 250 Years of Great St. Louisans” highlights the more than 170 inductees whose brass stars light up the Delmar Loop. The coffee table book includes a forward by St. Louis Walk of Fame founder Joe Edwards and features photos and biographies, as well as visual guides to the Delmar Loop and each inductee’s sidewalk location.

All 173 inductees include the latest St. Louisans to be honored, such as actor Jon Hamm, boxers Michael and Leon Spinks, TV’s Andy Cohen, football star Kurt Warner, The Temptations’ Dennis Edwards and writer Jonathan Franzen, among others.

Edwards founded the St. Louis Walk of Fame as a nonprofit in 1988 with the goal of shining the spotlight on St. Louisans who have greatly influenced culture on a national or global stage.

The book is available for purchase at Blueberry Hill, Subterranean Books, the Moonrise Hotel gift shop and online.
